As it has been the case for previous elections during the past years, voting day in Constituency No. 3 has been marked by major incidents on Thursday afternoon.

At around 16:00, it was peak time at this Constituency with 5,522 voters. Just one hour before the gate closing, a crowd of people was assembled at the Phoenix Government School.

An interesting constituency where two famous singers, Sandra Mayotte and Jasmine Toulouse, are confronting each other but at the same time, both are among those with the highest number of electors.

This Constituency is divided between the die-hard fans who openly displayed their contentment, along with a group of silent voters.

Along with the warm weather, you could see a happy and calm atmosphere in the 21 villages. The agents could be seen relaxing and having a good time. They looked confident for a win tomorrow.

The leader of the Labour Party, Navin Ramgoolam, is for the first time a candidate in Constituency No. 10 (Montagne Blanche / GRSE) under the banner of the L’Alliance Nationale.
